The toll road is part of Trans-Jawa toll road (Merak-Banyuwangi) and designed by PT Cipta Strada. Gempol-Pasuruan toll road directly connected to Gempol-Surabaya toll road (49 km) and Gempol-Pandaan toll road (to be completed in 2015).
